Welcome!

Hey there and welcome to my school blog, where I blog using my works of writing, such as poems, short stories, etc. When trying to figure out my abbreviations, remember the following:

•SS - Short Story

I want to point out a couple of my features real quick. To the right of this little intro is a Gadget called Writer's Unblock Tool. Basically, it gives randoms scenarios every time you Refresh the page, to keep your mind working if you're stuck while writing a play etc. If it's not working, it's not my problem. (I have plenty of ideas already. ;) )

At the bottom of this page is Blogger Play, which I renamed Worldwide Images. It shows images uploaded to Blogs all across the world! It doesn't have a censor (as far as I know), so it may show inappropriate pictures once in awhile. Pictures like family, resturaunts/kitchens, rivers, purses, etc. are shown constantly, but if you find something you saw that you like, you can pause, rewind, and fast forward the player.

Poem: An Otherworldly Passion (v1 of One)

Hey there! I got a little ahead of myself, and decided to write my A Time my World Changed poem. Now, I wrote this at about 8:30, almost without stopping. Revisions may be in order, but for now, here's my first (and perhaps last) version!

Looking for the next best thing? Find version two here!
Looking for the best version? Find version three here!

Also, this was formally One, but it was renamed to An Otherworldly Passion, so I changed it accordingly.

Topic: A time my world changed

One.

It gleamed from the end of the hall,
Strung with care from a virtuous crafter.
We shared the same thing: hollowed, dull, and lifeless.
It was but until my wandering eyes saw, that it came to life,
Its body motioning for me to come closer,
Its neck aching to be used.

I approach it, eager and nervous;
‘Would I be good enough?’I pondered to myself.
My bubbling fear was set aside,
And I tempted myself with a feel.
Boy, did it feel right.
Contented, I tempted further to satisfy myself, and it.
I ran my fingers across, sending a tingling sensation between us.
More, it whispered.

I explored more, finding every crevasse to better acquaint myself.
Seemingly to giggle when I blew on it,
It begged for even more.
Finally noticing everything, I snatched my bow,
And pounded into it.
Utterly horrific music accompanied it.

It turned away,
Weeping over the horrendous performance I had put on.
Ashamed myself, I also look away.
‘But this could be the last time!’ I realized.
Fear of rejection could not stand in my way.

I look back,
Examining the stunning bands of bliss spread across it’s body.
I wanted them, to make them mine.
Ignoring the calls to stop, I forge on.
I take the bow a second time
And attempt again.
This time, we cry together,
Moulding our personalities into
One being.

Now, before you tell me it's dirty, let me tell you that it's about my Violin. It's not about sex, or rape, or whatever. It's all about your perception though, I guess. :)
